Professor Rodney Stewart

Rodney is a Professor in Environmental Engineering and Management in the School of Engineering and Built Environment at Griffith University.

 

Rodney has been ranked among the top 2% of scientists worldwide in the field of Environmental Engineering, with over two-decades of successful formation and delivery of industry-collaborative research. He applies a participatory systems thinking and modelling approach involving different levels of government and industry stakeholders to create best-practice policies and practices for end-of-life management and circular economy of various waste streams, including plastics.

 

Rodney is co-leading a project that aims to create a roadmap for a zero plastic waste City of Gold Coast.
