Solving Plastic Waste CRC (SPW CRC) is the first Cooperative Research Centre to develop and offer a growing suite of microcredentials as a dedicated benefit for our Partners, Associates and Industry Researchers (Industry Researcher Development Program (IRDP) PhD and postdoctoral researchers).

These microcredentials build technical knowledge and deepen understanding of the challenges and opportunities shaping the plastics value chain and supporting the transition to a circular economy for plastics.

Who can access SPW CRC Microcredentials?

Eligible participants can enrol through the SPW CRC Office. Contact us to register your interest. Those who enrol will be given 12 months to complete this microcredential. View the full terms and conditions.

How do I enrol in a microcredential?

To register your interest in a specific microcredential, visit the relevant microcredential page and complete the form provided. Eligible participants will be contacted with enrolment details.

Can I enrol in a SPW CRC Microcredential if I am not a Partner, Associate or Industry Researcher?

Not at the moment. SPW CRC Microcredentials are currently available exclusively to members of the SPW CRC community, including Partners, Associates and Industry Researchers (IRDP PhD and postdoctoral researchers).

Selected microcredentials will be made available to the broader public in the future.

How long does it take to complete a microcredential?

Each microcredential has a different time commitment. Most are designed to be flexible and completed at your own pace.

Can I enrol in more than one microcredential?

Yes. Eligible participants can enrol in multiple microcredentials. If you’re interested in more than one, please note this in the message section when registering your interest.

What do I receive on completion?

When you successfully complete a microcredential, you’ll receive a digital badge through My eQuals, which can be shared on your LinkedIn, CV and other professional profiles.

Can I register a group for a microcredential?

Group registrations are currently available to employees or members of SPW CRC Partner & Associate organisations. To enrol a group or register on behalf of others, please contact us or email microcredentials@solvingplasticwastecrc.com.
